In 2007, Hampton Roads Chapter of ASHRAE signed the memorandums of understanding for the Gordon Webster Zipperer III Hampton Roads ASHRAE Endowed Scholarship in Engineering. This $50,000 endowment will provide a $2000 scholarship per year to an Old Dominion University engineering student pursuing a career in the HVAC industry.
